Zevia Soda Product Review & Coupon Giveaway

I was thrilled to receive my 6 pack of Zevia soda. I had heard and seen advertisements for this all natural soda. I was very happy to be able to do a product review and giveaway to be able to try it before investing in a soda purchase from one of the local stores.

What is Zevia?
Soda. Pretty plain and simple, Zevia is soda but better. Zevia was created with the miracle ingredient, stevia, which makes it all natural and zero calories. Never any sugar or artificial sweeteners mean it’s a healthier soda for you and those that you love.

What is stevia?

Stevia is a little green plant from the sunflower family and originally native to South America. The stevia leaf is up to 300x sweeter than sugar but has no caloric value or effect on blood sugar levels. Super safe? Yes. Sweet?

What is natural?

In our opinion, natural means nothing fake, phony or artificial. No artificial sweeteners, colors, junk. Only the good soda stuff. None of the bad. We use only the best ingredients to make our beverages. So you can drink this diet soda knowing it’s been made with love and care.

How many flavors do you have?

12. A dozen.

Is Zevia Gluten Free?

In short, yes! We take great care in choosing ingredients that are the healthiest for all of our consumers, especially those who have special diets.

Does Zevia have MSG?

Monosodium glutamate (MSG) is a naturally occurring non-essential amino acid, and is commonly used as a flavor enhancer. We do not use monosodium glutamate in the production of any of our sodas.

Who & What is Zevia Good for:
·       Weight control
·       Diabetes
·       Pregnancy – Zevia is “proud to share the American Pregnancy Association's approval of Stevia as a safe ingredient for use during pregnancy.”
·       Mom Approved

Why aluminum cans? Why not glass or plastic bottles?

We are always considering packaging options for our personal safety and health and that of our environment. When researching containers we concluded that while it was less expensive to manufacture in plastic bottles, the recycling rate was considerably lower than that of aluminum cans.

Summary:
Overall, the soda was delicious and I was pleasantly surprised by the taste. I will say that my favorites are  Blackcherry & Grapefruit Citrus. The clearer sodas I didn't care for as they tasted like diet soda to me and I am not a diet soda drinker.

It is also definitely best when it is ICE COLD and it should be drank in a reasonable amount of time. it does warm up quickly and starts to taste a little flat. In my opinion and once that happens I don't think that it tastes as good as it does when cold.

After trying Zevia I think that although slightly higher priced then regular soda, this product is worth it and it is much more healthier for you than regular soda!
