Product Review: Cleopatra’s Choice Adovia Dead Sea Mud Mask

Product: Cleopatra’s Choice Adovia Dead Sea Mud Mask

Regular Price: $36.00

Size: 5.1 fl oz / 150 ml

Ingredients: Demineralised Water & Dead Sea Water, Dead Sea Mud, Stearic Acid, Cetryl Alcohol, Beeswax, Sorbitan Tristearate, Propylene Glycol & Chamomile (Anthemis Nobilis) Extract & Algae Extract & Papaya (Carica Papaya) Extract & Aloe Vera (Barbadensis) Gel, Sunflower (Helianthus Annuus) Seed Oil, Glyceryl Stearate, Mandarin Orange (Citrus Nobilis) Oil, Jojoba (Buxus Chinensis) Oil, Olive (Olea Europaea) Oil, Triethanolamine, Evening Primrose (Oenothera Biennis) Oil, Peach (Prunus Persica) Kernel Oil, Benzoic Acid, Chlorphenesin, Dehydroacetic Acid, Benzalkonium Chloride, Dead Sea Salt, Aloe Barbadensis Gel, Chamomile (Anthemis Nobilis) Extract, Retinyl Palmitate, Exotic Verbena (Litsea Citrata) Oil, Ginseng (Panax Ginseng) Extract, Soybean (Glycine Soja) Extract, Ascorbic Acid.

Summary:
I was so excited to have the opportunity to review the Cleopatra’s Choice Adovia Dead Sea Mud Mask. I was looking for another mask type product to try.

The texture was smooth and there was no smell which was a positive. The application of the product was slightly messy, but that is to be expected. It felt cool and relaxing on my face and it was applied with very little work. I would suggest squeezing a generous amount out in order to fully coat the face area you are applying the mud mask.

The one thing that I love about this product is that as it dried it didn’t make my face feel stiff like some products. I was still able to comfortably talk with the mask on and it dried in a natural feeling sort of way.

After washing the mud mask off it my face felt wonderful. It was smooth and soft and touchable. I was very pleased with the product and the results.

Cleopatra’s Choice Adovia Dead Sea Mud Mask:

About This Product
  • Adovia Purifying Dead Sea Mud Mask is a natural and effective facial mask formulated with Dead Sea Black Mud, Bee’s wax and a host of other naturally moisturizing ingredients such as Jojoba, Evening Primrose and Olive oils.
  • In addition to a variety oils, the product also contains skin-soothing Aloe Vera extract and Chamomile – a natural anti-inflammatory agent.
  • The product is also stocked full of skin-friendly nutrients such as vitamins A and C, which leave the skin refreshed and renewed.
  • Made for people of all skin types: normal, dry, oily and acne-prone, this product helps to repair and revitalize the skin and tighten the pores.
  • As the mask dries, it gently removes toxins and impurities and firms the skin - improving overall elasticity, tone and clarity.
Prep Your Skin
  • Prior to using Adovia Purifying Dead Sea Mud Mask, make sure to clean your skin thoroughly before applying the product. For best results, wash your face with Adovia Mud Soap. For an added bonus, after washing your face, follow with a gentle exfoliating product. We recommend trying Adovia Exfoliating Facial Salts for Acne.
  • To maximize the effectiveness of the product, conduct the facial after a long steamy shower. After a hot shower, the pores are open and more receptive to nutrients. If you don’t have time for a shower, turn your bathroom into a sauna instead. Turn on the shower to create steam and sit in the room for 15 to 20 minutes to allow the steam to penetrate your skin and open the pores.
  • For quick steam treatment, boil or microwave a few cups of water and pour into a large oven-safe bowl or dish. Then hold your face over the bowl so that the steam can open your pores. For best results, place a large towel over your head and the bowl to prevent the steam from dissipating into the air. Be careful to avoid burning yourself with the hot liquid. To make this mini-sauna even more luxurious, try sprinkling a few drops of essential oil in the water for a little aromatherapy. If you don’t have any essential oils at home, add a few drops of vanilla extract, or, drop in a few slices of a lemon or orange.

Inspiration for the Day: Promise yourself .....

Promise yourself
to be so strong
that nothing can
disturb your
peace of mind.

To talk health, happiness
and prosperity
to every person you meet.

To make all your friends
feel that there is something in them.

To look at the sunny side of everything
and make your optimism come true.

To think only of the best, to work only for the best
   and expect only the best.

To be enthusiastic about the success of others
as you are about your own.

To forget the mistakes of the past and press on to
greater achievements of the future.

To wear a cheerful countenance at all times
and give every living creature you meet a smile.

To give so much time to the improvement of yourself
that you have no time to criticize others.

To be too large for worry, too noble for anger,
too strong for fear and too happy
to permit the presence of trouble.

THE KNOTS PRAYER

Dear God:

Please untie the knots
that are in my mind,
my heart and my life.

Remove the have nots,
the can nots and the do nots
that I have in my mind.

Erase the will nots,
may nots,
might nots that may find
a home in my heart.

Release me from the could nots,
would nots and
should nots that obstruct my life.

And most of all,

Dear God,
I ask that you remove from my mind
my heart and my life, all of the 'am nots'
that I have allowed to hold me back,
especially the thought.
that I am not good enough.

Amen

SodaStream Review & Giveaway

My husband and I are MAJOR soda lovers. We spend an endless amount of money feeding our Mountain Dew and Diet Pepsi habits. I was extremely excited to get the goodies pictured above. I have always been curious about the SodaStream and have heard it is a great way to conserve money rather than continuously buying 12-24 packs of soda at the store.

**The advantages of SodaStream's Home Carbonation System include:
  • Convenience: No need to carry heavy bottles from the store. The SodaStream system is simple to use and requires no batteries or electricity.
  • Environmentally-Friendly: SodaStream is an "Active Green" solution that minimizes the huge eco-footprint caused by the manufacture, transport and waste of plastic bottles.
  • Variety: SodaStream offers over 100 flavors to suit everyone’s taste. Regular, diet, natural, fruity flavors, ice tea, energy drinks, sport drinks, tonic and many more.
  • Space Saver: No need to store bottles of beverages or empty bottles for recycling in your home.
  • Personalization: Make drinks just the way you love them… more bubbles, less bubbles, sweeter or lighter, even create your own flavor!
  • Family Fun: The system is quick and easy to use. It's fun for everyone and kids just love it!
  • Value for Money: Great savings compared to pre-packed carbonated water and beverages.
  • Satisfaction Guaranteed: SodaStream drinks makers are of extremely high quality and include a money-back satisfaction guarantee.
The eco-friendly features of this product are attractive to me. I have a family of four and it seems like we have a LOT of trash so minimizing our collection of cans and bottles is a great selling feature of the SodaStream. It is also SO incredibly easy to use. The machine has no confusing parts to put together or electrical equipment. You open the back and put the carbonator in, fill the bottle with water, twist it into place, push the button a few times to carbonate the water, untwist your bottle, pour your syrup in and that's all there is to it! The bottle makes one liter of soda and is reusable, so no bottles are going in the trash.

I tried the root beer and lemon-lime flavors. I must say, the SodaStream soda has a much more natural flavor than any soda I've ever tasted. The directions tell you to push the carbonator button three times. I had to push it five or six times to get it to a carbonation good enough for me but the flavor is great! Lemon-lime can be compared to Sprite for me but the difference in nutrition facts is outstanding.
The SodaStream syrups have a significantly fewer amount of calories, sugar, and carbs. You have to make sure your water is VERY cold before using the SodaStream. I stored a bottle of cold water in the fridge for a couple of hours and the soda tasted much more comparable to name brands. If the water isn't cold enough, I noticed the soda tended to go flat.
The SodaStream is also cost effective. You can shop on their Web site or at various retailers around the world (JCPenney, Target, Staples, Sears, and more). Every 10th soda mix you buy is FREE and each bottle of mix contains the equivalent of 33 cans of soda. These can be purchased for as low as $4.99. A 24-pack of soda cans here in Indiana costs around $6.99 ON SALE, so the SodaStream is extremely cost effective.
Will the SodaStream replace my Mountain Dew? Probably not, but it is a great "filler" or alternative to drinking an excessive amount of Mountain Dew. Plus I feel more comfortable letting my kids drink from it, because neither of them are allowed to have soda at this point in their lives due to the high sugar content. I can reduce my carbon footprint a bit with this nifty little machine too!

IMUSA Aluminum Tamale & Seafood Steamer Review

Product: Aluminum Tamale & Seafood Steamer

IMUSA Website: http://www.imusausa.com/

About: Tamale Steamers are used primarily for making tamales and are often called a “Tamalera.” Typically two tamaleras in different sizes are kept on hand. A “Tamalera” can be very large (32 Qt.) since tamales are made at Christmas time in large quantities for family gatherings. Numerous adaptations have been made on the basic tamale, including vegetarian tamales, chicken tamales, and even chocolate tamales.

Summary:
I could not contain my excitement when I got the email stating that I would have the chance to review the IMUSA Seafood Steamer.

My boyfriend is avid lobsterman and when he would bring home the weekly catch we would have to steam the lobsters at separate times as we didn’t have a large enough pot to contain all the lobsters. Now I have a steamer that is big enough to steam all the lobsters at once!

Below you will find the latest catch of 23 lobsters and steamed in our new pot for our seafood cookout to celebrate his largest catch of the year.  I was so excited to try our new pot from IMUSA to steam the lobsters and they came out great. We followed the directions and watched the video on the website to make sure that we got ultimate results.

The lobsters were steamed to perfection! They were tender and juicy and full of flavor. It was a perfect dinner for all that attended and everyone was talking about how perfect the lobsters came out for days. It was a great seafood dinner and cookout. We even steamed mussels in the pot at as well and the blend was restaurant quality and I am very happy with my new steamer from IMUSA

Highly recommended! 5 Stars

God said …. If you never…

If you never felt pain,
Then how would you know that I'm a Healer?

If you never went through difficulties,
How would you know that I'm a Deliverer?

If you never had a trial,
How could you call yourself an overcomer?

If you never felt sadness,
How would you know that I'm a Comforter?

If you never made a mistake,
How would you know that I'm forgiving?

If you knew all,
How would you know that I will answer your questions?

If you never were in trouble,
How would you know that I will come to your rescue?

If you never were broken,
Then how would know that I can make you whole?

If you never had a problem,
How would you know that I can solve them?

If you never had any suffering,
Then how would you know what Jesus went through?

If you never went through the fire,
then how would you become pure?

If I gave you all things,
How would you appreciate them?

If I never corrected you,
How would you know that I love you?

If you had all power,
Then how would you learn to depend on me?

If your life was perfect,
Then what would you need Me for?

Divorce And Parenting

When you become a divorced parent you need to consider lessons and behaviors that you need to model to your children. You need to the messages you convey will influence your children and initiate them into adulthood.

Bad and ugly things happen to good people and divorce is a prime example. Good people also fall out of love with their spouses and get divorced and this is because responsible people who are loving parents make a decision of ending a deceitful and loveless marriage.

When parents go ahead with a divorce decision can either be getting a grip on their life an happiness or destroying it all depends on the approach of this transition. There are parents who are blinded by blame as well as anger never get to learn much through the experience since they will always blame their former ex-partners as the problem  and always think that a divorce will be the right decision that brings results.

What these kinds of parents don’t know is that they will be faced with a tough decision that will affect how their children will grow and react after the divorce has been finalized and cope of living with two parents that they have to keep visiting separately.

There are those parents that focus on divorce as a threshold into greater self-realization, reflection as well as understanding. For any sane parent repeating the same mistake is a no, no and these parents really want to be aware of any part they played in the failure of the marriage.

Parents that go on a path of self-reflection ask themselves questions as well as search and try to find within themselves what they did or did not do so that they can know why they had a disconnect with their spouse.

Such parents them become very cautious and will do everything that will let their children leave a happy life and will ensure the  next person they introduce into their lives is a person that will embrace the children as their own.

Single Parenting And Finances

In the times we are living in everybody is going through financial difficulty and all across the globe financial doldrums have weighed heavily on people and especially single parents. Everything has shot up in prices but incomes are still pecked at the same rate in not lower, thus meaning whatever money had been put into savings is now being used in meeting basic needs.

This means that people are suffering from higher levels of stress as well as depression. Some of the main financial problems that single parents go through is that of carrying monetary burden that is usually shared between two people.

This statement alone brings forth the difficulties that single parents have to deal with since everyday problems for most single parents is compounded two folds. Single parents are faced with the task of dealing with the whole concept of money, family issues and have to be strong since they have no shoulder to lean on.
Some of the financial problems faced by single parents include; Bills, taxes, increasing costs, school fees, transportation costs and emergency or unforeseen expenditures. Bills are universal as well as taxes and they always change their percentage due to governments intervention.

Living standards have also changed and the prices of clothes, food as well as household appliances keeps surging up and these do cause financial strains on single parents. Paying school fees is also a big burden on the single parent since this item falls under certain priorities such as food and bills.
Mortgage payments are also a priority and most single parents will opt on putting a roof over their children’s heads before they even comprehend paying school fees.  Transportation is another area that really  gets on a single parent’s nerves since he/she will have to continue paying car payments and always think where they will be getting money to fuel their cars.

Nowadays plenty of single parents are relying on public transportation in order to save up on costs of fuel. Emergencies as we as unforeseen expenditures are a savings that many a single parent keep aside for, this is because they hate being surprised when something such as a medical emergency or damage repair costs spring up.

Single parents deserve special credit and blessing; having to deal with what they deal with on a daily basis. And if you are in a position to assist a single parent please do go ahead and do so since many of them need help despite the brave face they put up!
