Product Review for The Super Glove

Product: The Super Glove
Made by: KuisiWare
Where to purchase: Amazon
About the Super Glove:
  • Ideal for Oven, Barbecue & Grill
  • Fire Resistant
  • One Size Fits All
  • Heat Resistant up to 662 Degrees Fahrenheit
  • Non-Slip Silicone Grip

I was very excited, yet skeptical to try these gloves because I was just in the process of looking for new oven mitts/grill mits. The ones that I have purchased in the past say that they are heat resistant and durable but the overall experience is that they last for a few months and then they start to tear down and holes begin to form. In addition, they never provided slip resistance so I always had to make sure that I had a good two hand grip on what I was trying to take off the oven.

When I first took The Super Glove out the package I was a little unsure of the product because the red grips were very sticky and seemed to be made out of a plastic type of material. My initial thought was that they were going to melt if they were near a hot surface and was hesitant to use.  In addition, the gloves seemed to be too large for me (one size fits all) and I wasn’t sure if I would be able to get a good grip on things as I was taking them out of the oven.

On the weekend I was having a cookout for friends and family I decided to give the gloves a try and I was pleasantly surprised at the results.  The glove literally felt like it conformed to my hand when I put them on. I was able to take a large pan of macaroni and cheese and lasagna out of the oven with one hand. It was amazing, and the red grips on the gloves never melted.

I had the same experience on the grill, when I had a plate in one hand and taking chicken wings, burgers and hotdogs off with the other. I was able to steadily hold anything I was piling onto a plate without losing the grip that I had.

Overall, I am extremely satisfied this product and I hope that this is the last set of oven/grill mitts that I will have to purchase for a very long time.

Highly recommended! 5 Stars

Inspirational Marilyn Monroe Quote

“This life is what you make it. No matter what, you're going to mess up sometimes, it's a universal truth. But the good part is you get to decide how you're going to mess it up.

Girls will be your friends - they'll act like it anyway. But just remember, some come, some go. The ones that stay with you through everything - they're your true best friends. Don't let go of them. Also remember, sisters make the best friends in the world. As for lovers, well, they'll come and go too. And baby, I hate to say it, most of them - actually pretty much all of them are going to break your heart, but you can't give up because if you give up, you'll never find your soulmate.

You'll never find that half who makes you whole and that goes for everything. Just because you fail once, doesn't mean you're gonna fail at everything. Keep trying, hold on, and always, always, always believe in yourself, because if you don't, then who will, sweetie? So keep your head high, keep your chin up, and most importantly, keep smiling, because life's a beautiful thing and there's so much to smile about.”

Inspirational Quotes About Life

Here are few quotes that have gotten me through the tougher times in life.

“You've gotta dance like there's nobody watching,
Love like you'll never be hurt,
Sing like there's nobody listening,
And live like it's heaven on earth.”
― William W. Purkey

“In three words I can sum up everything I've learned about life: it goes on.”
― Robert Frost

“Just when you think it can't get any worse, it can. And just when you think it can't get any better, it can.”
― Nicholas SparksAt First Sight

Inspiration for Starting Over After Divorce

This is my story:

I will never forget the moment that I walked out of the courtroom after my divorce became official. As a walked down the hall of the courthouse, I felt like I was in my own bubble. People were talking all around me, but my world was complete silent and I didn’t have a thought on in my head. It wasn’t until I opened the doors to the outside world and took a deep breath that everything washed over me like a tidal wave.

I realized that I was no longer married, I no longer had a husband, and my daughter no longer hand a dad that would be there to tuck her in a night. It was too much, nothing made sense. There were so many questions and no answers. I knew I was not ready to face the home that I had built for my family because that family no longer existed. I called my mom and asked her to watch my daughter for the weekend because I needed a moment. I needed to get away and regroup. So, I did. I drove from CT to Boston MA for the weekend.

During that weekend, I tried to enjoy myself as much as possible, but I knew in the back of my mind, that I had to face my reality back in CT. I had always been a tough and strong individual and I prided myself on being a hard worker and I never let anything stop me from reaching my goals and loved a good challenge. I realized now I really had to bring my “A game.” I had to dig deeper than I ever had before. It was not about me, it was about my daughter. I did not have time to feel sorry for myself and question all the “what if’s?” I knew that I had done my best to keep my family together, but sometimes even you best and is not enough and guess what? That was OK because it takes 2 people to make a marriage work and both individuals have to be pulling on the same rope in the same direction. When that doesn't happen…well…divorce is the possible outcome.

Single Mom Inspirations Is BACK!

I  Finally Finished
Master’s Degree in Business Administration!!!

The last year and half has been such a blur and as I look back I don’t know how I managed to balance school, work and my being a single mom.

During this time I had to take time off from blogging which was tough because I knew that my blog reached many people and it was a personal outlet for me.  I knew that I could not give it my all with going back to school and everything else I had to balance during this time.

In the end I am so proud that I pushed myself, stayed focused and accomplished everything that I needed to do successfully and to my satisfaction.

So how did I do this?

Family
My parents were so supportive of me during this period. When I needed the weekend to work on a paper or study they would watch my daughter and allow me the time I needed in order to get what I needed done for school. Without their support I don’t know how I would have made through.
Balance
During the week, I knew that I still needed to spend time with my daughter, so I conditioned myself to staying up later and doing some of my school work after she went to bed.

Since, I was taking online classes, I could use my lunchtime at work to log in and do school work when necessary.

In addition, while my daughter was doing her homework I would also do mine. She enjoyed that because she knew that she wasn’t the only one that was doing homework and it was encouraging for her as well.
I took advantage of every opportunity I had to study.
