It has been a few days since
I have posted because my life has been crazy, busy! Hence the Quote of the Day.
I was running around doing everything for everybody and never could seem to
find time to do what I wanted.
The Highlight of the week was
Monday. Let me just say that I am NOT that “Valentines’ Day Girl” If I could I
would just skip the day all together. Why? Because from the time I started
dating at 16, somehow Valentine’s Day would NEVER go as planned and I was the
one left upset and hurt.
But this year was different. My wonderful boyfriend made me dinner of Cornish Game Hens with Garlic and Rosemary (recipe to be posted), steamed fresh string beans and broccoli and macaroni and cheese. He bought me the sweetest card (which he actually wrote in) and a HUGE box of Munsons’ Chocolate! I did tell him that when I put on 20lbs, he BETTER NOT SAY ONE WORD, cause this is his fault.
My little one was here, but he watched her and entertained her for the evening. All in All
BEST VALENTINES EVER!!
P.S. This doesn’t change my Valentine’s Day perspective….but it is a start.
